HOT MINUTE W/ TERRI CHRISTOPHER

THE PAIRING
While camping in Vermont, I paired MOTO spice blend with skewered vegetables and tofu for the grill! The grilled veggies were served in corn tortillas with MOTO hot sauce! It had the perfect amount of kick to please everyone’s palate.

At my Cambridge, MA home, I wanted to make a simple, healthy meal of protein, grains, and greens. I prepared tofu cubes by coating them with nutritional yeast and MOTO spice blend, and tossed them in the air fryer. While those were cooking, I made braised kale and a lentil and grains blend. I topped the bowl with a drizzle of MOTO hot sauce! This is something I could eat every night!

THE SPOT
We bought our supplies at the Brattleboro Food Co-op,
our place to shop on our way to our camping spot in Vermont.

THE BEVERAGE
Switchback “Krush” NA Hazy IPA, brewed in Burlington, VT! Always loved the regular Switchback, glad they are offering a couple of NA brews!

THE SOUNDTRACK
Dagmar Zuniga, a Brooklyn based experimental folk artist my husband had been listening to, really caught my ear. I really love the lo-fi aspect of her music.

“My grandparents are from Matera, Italy, so Southern Italian food was a very welcome staple in my life growing up”

ABOUT TERRI
I am passionate about playing drums, analog photography, my 2 kitties, fitness—-lifting weights, spinning, Pilates, hiking, camping, traveling as much as possible, to Los Angeles, Joshua Tree, Iceland, Italy, and Martha’s Vineyard. I also love Cassavetes films, and watching Criterion Channel.

I live in Cambridge, MA, and I play in a band with my sister Maria and her partner Ayal called “27”. I’ve been playing drums since 1992, and have played in several indie bands over the years and also love metal. I would love to play in a multi drummer band someday!
